Hi everyone!
A big welcome to all of you who are new to this once-a-month newsletter, having signed up at my Grand Opening and Open Studios last weekend! What an exciting month this has already been! The first weekend of Open Studios and the Grand Opening of my Gallery went tremendously well. Over a hundred people visited the gallery, we met lots of neighbors, and sold two large framed photos, a dozen smaller ones, and two photo portfolios. It was a great beginning! I received two follow up phone calls in the days that followed, also a good sign. For those of you in the area who were not able to make it, there's still October 18th, as well as calling 831-336-8073 to schedule an appointment for any other time.
Everything started with an Artist's Reception at the Art League in Santa Cruz, the Sunday before Open Studios. There's Jody in the Desert hanging high on the wall.
Then it was on to the opening of my gallery the following weekend. Here's a picture of Joyce setting up the sign-in and book sales table.
Here are my two sons, Joshua and Seth, and a very proud papa on this fun day.
Here's a photo of my friend Kristen and my new daughter, Ilana.
Also visiting was Michelle Chappel , a singer/songwriter for whom I am now the official photographer. Click on her name and check out some of the incredibly uplifting music she produces.

2) Be sure to check out the main menu page of my newly redesigned website, rebuilt to highlight my new gallery. I really like what I hope is a much easier site to navigate. Please let me know of any ideas/upgrades you might have.

3) One thing to be found on this redesigned website is a Portfolios link, which will take you to a page where you can choose to view any of my three photography books:

Frank Leonard Photography: Figure Photos
Frank Leonard Photography: A Portfolio (a combination Landscape/Figures Portfolio)
What is new is that once you have picked one of these portfolios, you can now preview EVERY PAGE in the portfolio, full screen if you so choose. This is a huge improvement to the past arrangement, where you could only view the first 15 pages. By checking out these portfolios, you will see very broad sections of my best work. I hope you enjoy!
