I was privileged to have 10 of my outdoor figure photos accepted into Santa Cruz County's Open Studios Tour during October, 2009. This was in conjunction with the Grand Opening of my Photography Gallery and Studio. Here are some photos from this very exciting time.
Above is the postcard which I produced for Open Studios, featuring one of my signature images, "Jody in the Desert."
The weekend before Open Studios, there was an Artist's Reception at the Santa Cruz Art League. There's "Jody in the Desert" high on the wall.
Then it was on to Open Studios and the Grand Opening of my gallery. Here's a picture of Joyce setting up the sign-in and book sales table.
Here are my two sons, Joshua and Seth, and a very proud papa on this fun day.
Here's a photo of my dear friend Kristen and my new daughter, Ilana.
Also visiting was Michelle Chappel, a singer/songwriter. I am her official photographer. Click on her name and check out some of the incredibly uplifting music she produces.
Open Studios was a marvelous opportunity and experience. I hope to be able to participate again in 2010.
